Guest Ratings & Reviews
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms had everything needed and were conveniently located near some nice bars and restaurants, although the basement shower setup may not be ideal for taller individuals. The service was friendly and helpful, but I found the beds a bit uncomfortable and the smell in the building off-putting. The location was great for exploring Swansea, within walking distance to the bay and city center, though parking can be a challenge. The dining experience offered tasty options, including a veggie sausage, and the freshly made breakfast was a bonus. The facilities were satisfactory for the price, though getting into the lockbox was a bit tricky.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, more like an apartment with two rooms and a bathroom, offered a window with a view of the sea, although they were not as trendy as expected and were located next to the front door. The service was a bit of a letdown with low standards in terms of comfort, but the staff, excluding the cleaners, were extremely friendly and accommodating, especially Lynn who upgraded my room unexpectedly. The location was convenient for shopping but had drawbacks of difficult parking and noise from the nearby bar scene attracting young people late at night. The dining experience was excellent, offering gluten-free options and an outstanding breakfast setup, although there were no comments on the facilities.
The hotel had both positive and negative aspects. The rooms were bright, airy, and beautifully clean, but the location felt unsafe being in an alleyway behind the hotel. The service was friendly and welcoming, though the hotel was described as more of a poorly renovated guest house. The location was convenient for local attractions but lacked 'ambience'. The dining was outstanding with top-quality local ingredients, although there were some comments concerning the lack of breakfast options.
